TICKETS SOLD OUT (11/09/2009)
The Organising Committee of the WAF 2009 announces that the tickets for the World Athletics Final IAAF / VTB Bank have sold out. The last available tickets were sold today (Friday 11th September) in the kiosk of the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki.
However, the kiosk of the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki will still be open during Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September (10:00 - 19:00) exclusively for the exchange of the tickets booked through the website www.tickethour.com. Please note that the athletics fans who bought their tickets through Piraeus Bank, do not need to exchange their booking vouchers with tickets, since they will be able to enter the stadium by showing these vouchers.
All spectators can be seated anywhere they wish, within the limit of their specific tribune. Children under 12 years old have free admission to the upper part of the tribune. However, only the spectators who have bought their tickets are entitled of seating in the numbered seats.
The gates of Kaftanzoglio stadium will open at 16:00. Outside the stadium, there will be 6 specifically trained volunteers, who will guide the spectators to the appropriate gates. Spectators are kindly asked to reach the stadium early and to follow the instructions of the above mentioned volunteers, for their own comfort.
