WAF 2009 ACCREDITATION
The procedure has started, everyone one involved in the event must have the appropriate accreditation in order to gain access to the stadium. The IAAF World Athletics Final which is the biggest sporting event will take place in Thessaloniki on the 12th and on the 13th of September 2009. The Press Operations Office of the Organising Committee is sending the accreditation forms to the media delegates and to the federation of each country. IAAF will give to the media representatives the privilege to gain access, attend and cover the WAF 2009 that is taking place in September 2009 in Thessaloniki.
Accreditation forms need to be filled up and returned to the Press Operations Office of the Organising Committee.The Press Operations Office is willing to help and reply to all questions asked.
Our main concern is the mission to be accomplished successfully. For the above reason all journalists who will arrive in Thessaloniki will be accompanied from and to the airport. Moreover their transportation from and to Kaftanzoglio stadium to the media hotels is already planned.The Media Hotels are the following: “Vergina” (four star) and “Telionis” (three star). In order to anticipate any commuting problems and to make your stay more pleasant, frequent bus trips will be provided from and to Kaftanzoglio stadium to the media hotel.
